- The website that I worked on from March 2004-January 2008
- Responsibilities included:
- Creation, modification and support for all OTC related web pages
- Support of our Content Management System (CMS) as well as training Contribute users how to publish their content
- Work with various academic areas to help promote effective branding, marketing and recruitment efforts for our website

- Created, prototyped and released a new web based recruitment application for Ozarks Technical Community College to provide students, faculty, staff and the community information about academic programs and services they offer.
- The application provides a clean visual look, and consistent, easy to use navigation.
- We (the committee) helped academic program faculty develop content and pictures for 34 programs, as well as service areas offered, such as Academic Achievement Center, Disability Support Services, etc.
- The project from concept to finish was completed in roughly a year.

- Created and programmed web-based class schedules
- Objectives were:
- Allow the web schedules to be updated every five minutes without web personnel interaction
- aspx was used to read a tab-delimited text file that was exported from the IBM
- The script checks for class availability and lab components and highlights the row with appropropriate colors

- Researched and integrated new event calendar management system using aspx & MySQL database
- Allows for:
- Multiple administrators
- Events can be shared by multiple categories
- Pubilc event submission
- Search event capability
- Mobile calendar for PDA or cell phones

- Researched and integrated new search engine using aspx
- Allows for:
- Advanced customization integration
- Highlighting search term results
- Automatic scheduling for indexing of website in online mode
- Raw log files which can be exported to HTML to view top search results

- Coordinated with other IT areas to customize and integrate new Password (PASS) Self Service System

- This was a website created for a class assignment for MED 390 (Mass Media) at Missouri State University, Spring ' 07
- Class objectives were to create a website with the following requirements:
- Creating a layout in Fireworks or Photoshop
- Slicing the layout into specific graphical elements
- HTML to code the structure
- CSS to control the layout and presentational elements
- Navigational elements which included JavaScript. If JavaScript was disabled, navigational elements should still be usable

- Developed their web site to help promote their online presence.
- Main focus was to provide clear, clean and consistent information in user friendly navigation.
- Consulted with Web Committee on content management and provided them with Macromedia Contribute training.

- Developed dynamic backend administration for their member profiles using ASP.NET and Microsoft Access 2003, which cut maintenance from 500 html files to one aspx file & database.
- Published new information to the new design.
- Consulted with Web Committee on practices of content management and managing their database.
